Notes

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls NP
You will be welcomed and picked by our driver guide and then transfer you to Murchison falls national park with en-route to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for a nature walk to see the rare rhinos in the wild. There, you’ll take a guided one-hour rhino tracking walk. After your rhino encounter, you’ll travel to Masindi at Kabalega dinners for lunch. Following lunch, you’ll continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park the largest protected area in Uganda, named after the falls on the Victoria Nile.

In Murchison Falls National Park, you’ll experience the dramatic Murchison Falls and explore Uganda’s largest national park. The park’s vast plains are home to lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffaloes, elephants, and a remarkable concentration of hippos and Nile crocodiles.
Dinner and overnight at Sambiya river lodge.
Day 2: Game drive, Boat cruise and top of the falls
You will wake up for an early morning game drive before dawn to catch up with predators and early risers. Expect animals such as jackals, Lions, Leopards, spotted hyenas, giraffe, antelope, elephant, Buffaloes, Uganda Kob and many more. You will retire from the game drive for late breakfast and lunch and then in the afternoon you will go for a Boat ride on the Victoria Nile. The boat trip will take you to the bottom of the falls where you will view animals like the buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, elephants and plenty of water birds like fish eagles and rare shoebills and many more. Later proceed to the top of the falls where the park derives its name. Here you will see the calm Nile forcing itself through a narrow gorge of 7 meters wide to fall a distance of about 150 ft down producing a thunderous roar of whitewater- incredible scenery.
Day 3: Transfer Kibale Forest National Park
After early breakfast, we shall have another morning game drive then return for lunch and after check out and transfer to Kibale forest national park via the Albertine Escarpment of the western rift valley. Drive through Hoima the town of the Bunyoro Kingdom passing through the verdant countryside, tea plantations, and traditional homesteads. You will arrive in Fort Portal and your lunch in the capital of the Tooro kingdom in the shadow of the fabled mountains of the moon Rwenzori. Proceed with the journey and finally check in at Kibale forest camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking and Queen Elizabeth NP
Early in the morning after your breakfast, go for chimpanzee trek in Kibale National Park. Enjoy a traditional meal prepared by one of the families in the local community. Return for lunch and after your lunch then transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. Arrival and check in at Baboon safari resort lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Game drive and Boat cruise
Early in the morning, embark on the morning a game drive and catch up with the early risers, and predators trying to get back to their hide outs. Return for breakfast and lunch at the Lodge, relax as we wait for lunch, later go for afternoon launch cruise on the Kazinga channel, famous for the highest concentration of Hippos in Africa, alongside other animals like Buffaloes, and huge crocodiles basking on the shores, as well as 611 bird’s species. Dinner and overnight stay at Baboon safari resort lodge.
Day 6: Transfer back to Kampala
Have breakfast and then drive back to Kampala with a pause in Mbarara for a delightful lunch, giving you the chance to enjoy local dishes and stretch your legs before you resume your travels.

Next, visit the Equator, where you can take memorable photos and experience the unique intersection of the Earth’s hemispheres. Explore the souvenir shops to pick up gifts or keepsakes from your Ugandan adventure.

Finally, continue your journey to either Kampala or Entebbe, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, depending on your travel plans.
