Day 1: Arrival, pick up and Transfer to Murchison falls NP
Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be greeted and whisked away to Murchison Falls in northern Uganda. Along the way, we’ll stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exhilarating hour of on-foot rhino tracking, followed by a delicious lunch. Afterward, we’ll continue to Murchison Falls National Park and check into the Sambiya River Lodge. Here, you’ll relish a superb dinner and unwind with an overnight stay in this tranquil setting, perfectly nestled in the heart of the wilderness. Enjoy the serene surroundings and prepare for more adventures to come.
Day 2: Game drive, Boat cruise and Top of the falls
After breakfast, we’ll set off on an early morning drive to explore the wilds, spotting lions, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, and Uganda Kobs. Return for a relaxing lunch before heading out for a sunset boat cruise on the Nile River, where you’ll marvel at hippos, crocodiles, diverse birdlife, and the stunning Nyamusikka cliffs. Next, we’ll visit the top of the awe-inspiring Murchison Falls, where you can witness the roaring water and permanent rainbow. Conclude your day with a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay at Sambiya River Lodge.
Day 3: Transfer to Fortportal City
After a delicious breakfast, we’ll check out of the lodge and head towards Fort Portal City, taking in the stunning scenery, lush landscapes, and vibrant green farms along the way. Upon reaching Fort Portal, we’ll enjoy a tasty lunch before checking into Kalya Courts Hotel. Spend your evening relaxing with a delightful dinner and a comfortable overnight stay, surrounded by the beauty of this picturesque region.
Day 4: Transfer to Semuliki National Park
After breakfast, we’ll journey to Semuliki National Park for a nature walk, exploring both the male and female Sempaya Hot Springs where you can boil eggs and bananas in the steaming water. Next, we’ll visit Amabeere ga Nyina Mwiru and the crater lakes near Fort Portal. Discover the historical significance of Amabeere ga Nyina Mwiru before hiking around the crater lakes and taking in the breathtaking views. We’ll return to Fort Portal for a restful overnight stay at Kalya Courts Hotel, with dinner provided to end your day perfectly.
Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala
After breakfast, we’ll check out of the lodge and set off for Kampala. En route, we’ll enjoy a leisurely lunch, taking in the scenery one last time. Following our meal, we’ll proceed to either Kampala or Entebbe International Airport for your departure. This journey marks the end of your adventure, offering a final opportunity to reflect on your unforgettable experiences before heading to your next destination.
