Day By Day Activities

Day 1: Arrival, pick up and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Upon arrival at Kampala or Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be greeted and driven to Lake Mburo National Park. En route, pause at the Equator crossing point in Kayabwe for memorable photos, then head to Igongo Cultural Center in Mbarara for a delightful lunch. Afterward, continue to Lake Mburo National Park, where you’ll check in at Mburo Safari Lodge. Enjoy a relaxing dinner and settle in for the night, ready to embark on an exciting adventure the following day.

Day 2: Lake Mburo NP Morning Game drive, Boat cruise and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP
Start your day with a hearty breakfast before setting out on a thrilling drive into the jungle in search of wildlife. Enjoy an exciting game drive with chances to spot antelopes, buffaloes, leopards, warthogs, zebras, and giraffes among others. Return for lunch, then embark on a 2-hour boat cruise offering breathtaking views of aquatic animals like hippos, crocodiles, and water birds. In the evening, travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park and check in at Baboon Safari Resort for a delightful dinner and restful overnight stay.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
After an early breakfast, set off for the Kasenyi plains, renowned for its diverse wildlife and stunning views of the Rwenzori ranges and crater lakes. Experience a classic African safari with a morning game drive, spotting buffaloes, elephants, Uganda kobs, warthogs, waterbucks, lions, baboons, and a variety of birds including grey-crowned cranes and Southern red bishops. Return to the lodge for a warm lunch, then head to Mweya for an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. Enjoy a two-hour cruise to Lake Edward, where you’ll see elephants drinking and swimming, hippos, crocodiles, and local fishermen. Conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay at Baboon Safari Resort.

Day 4: Drive back to Kampala or Entebbe Airport
Start your final day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on the journey back to Kampala. Enjoy an en-route lunch at a charming town along the way, soaking in the local atmosphere. As the day unfolds, we’ll continue our drive, ultimately reaching Kampala or Entebbe Airport. This marks the end of a memorable adventure, leaving you with lasting impressions of the trip.
