Day By Day Activities
Day 1:Arrival, pick up and transfer to Murchison falls NP via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Upon your arrival, you’ll be warmly greeted at the airport and transported to Murchison Falls in northern Uganda. Along the journey, we’ll make an exciting detour to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a thrilling rhino tracking adventure and a tasty lunch. Afterward, we’ll proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, where you’ll check in at the cozy Sambiya River Lodge. Relax and unwind as you enjoy a sumptuous dinner, followed by a restful overnight stay, all set against the backdrop of the park’s stunning natural beauty.
Day 2: Game drive, Boat cruise & Top of the falls
After breakfast, we’ll set off on a thrilling sunrise drive through the wild, searching for lions, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, and Uganda Kobs. Following this adventure, return for a leisurely lunch and some relaxation. Later, embark on a sunset boat cruise along the Nile River, drifting to the base of the stunning Murchison Falls. Experience the sights of hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife, and marvel at the Nyamusikka cliffs. Continue to the top of the world’s most powerful waterfalls, where you’ll witness a permanent rainbow and the thunderous roar of the falls. Return to Sambiya River Lodge for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Aruu falls
After breakfast, embark on a scenic journey to Kitgum Pader in northern Uganda for the Aruu Falls experience. En route, you’ll be captivated by views of the Aswa River, Abera Forest, and Kalawinya Rock. Upon arrival, take a refreshing nature walk through a series of cascading water pools, where you can swim and immerse yourself in the pristine beauty of the landscape. Conclude your day with a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at Baker’s Fort Hotel, nestled in this tranquil setting.
Day 4: Transfer back to Kampala
On our final day, we’ll set out early for Kampala, with a stop to marvel at Karuma Falls, where you might spot olive baboons and other wildlife in the Karuma Wildlife Reserve. Enjoy a scenic drive with an on-route lunch, savoring the journey back to Kampala or Entebbe. This day marks the end of an unforgettable adventure through Uganda’s diverse landscapes and wildlife.
