Queen Elizabeth National Park, spanning Kasese and Rubirizi districts near the Congo border, was established in 1952, originally named Kazinga National Park. Renamed in honor of Queen Elizabeth II after her visit, it’s Uganda’s second-largest park, following Murchison Falls. Known for tree-climbing lions in Ishasha and the channel linking Lake George and Lake Edward to the DR Congo, it also hosts chimpanzees in Kyambura Gorge and over 600 bird species.

Day By Day Activities
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Upon your arrival, our driver guide will be already there waiting for you and then transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park enjoy the breath-taking landscape of the tea estate and amazing view along the road with a stopover at Kayabwe Equator for refreshments, Equator experience and photography then proceed with en-route lunch. Enjoy viewing Leopards, birds, Elephants, Buffaloes among others. Dinner & overnight stay at Baboon safari resort lodge.
Day 2: Game drive and Boat cruise
Today early morning after your breakfast, we shall embark on to a morning game drive along the Kasenyi plain in search of lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants a up to the salt lakes where salt mining takes place in Uganda. Return for lunch and after proceed to the Kazinga channel for your boat cruise. Enjoy viewing hippos, birds, crocodiles among others. Return for dinner and overnight stay at Baboon safari resort lodge.
Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala
After your morning breakfast, we shall transfer back to Kampala being our last day of the trip. Enjoy roadside plantains, scenic view of the tea estates, and en-route lunch in Mityana. Finally, back to Entebbe for your scheduled flight.
